I have 3 followers!

Let me just start off by saying-I FEEL SO ACCOMPLISHED! I thought i'd never have any followers, but I now have three! So a big thanks to those who are keeping up with my blog! Now, I didn't post yesterday because I was visiting at my grandparent's house with family but I posted my July 4th nails the day before. However, I painted them yet again whenever I got home from work late that night so they'd be fresh for the 4th. I'll post a picture of my final red and blue nails! And then on to today's nails. I wore China Glaze's Rich & Famous (which is pretty much a creme hot pink). I don't like it near as much as Strawberry Margarita by OPI, but it's alright. The application was kind of streaky but by the second coat you couldn't tell. I then topped it off with Revlon Glimmer Gloss in Grapefruit Glimmer. I love my Glimmer Gloss because it just adds a little something extra without being overpowering to the color of the polish beneath. But it's too sheer to just wear by itself (at least for me). Oh, and I always put a top coat too! I'll just get on with the pictures now!

Haha, this is just a picture from 4th of July yesterday. Isn't my dog just the cutest? That's my Delta Queen wearing her American flag scarf!

This is the last 4th of July mani I did! And actually I kept the Dating a Royal by OPI on my fingers from the one before this, I just added one coat of Across the Universe by Deborah Lippmann on top. And I kept my accent finger base color the same too-Ruby Pumps by China Glaze. So not too much changed just a little added sparkle.

On to today's:

These are my finished nails with the polishes I used.

Name shot. China Glaze's Rich & Famous and Revlon's Grapefruit Glimmer.

Finished product outside in natural light. I spy Delta!
I hope you liked them! Have you ever tried any of the Glimmer Glosses by Revlon? If so, how do you like them/use them? What's your favorite color to pair Across the Universe with? Or do you wear it by itself? I'd love to hear y'all's opinion!

XOXO

3 CHEERS FOR THE RED WHITE AND BLUE!

I know 4th of July isn't until tomorrow but i'm not sure if i'll have time to post anything tomorrow so i'm just going to do it right now! I did my 4th of July mani around the beginning of this week, but then a couple days ago my best friend and I were hanging out and we decided that we'd do something a little different, but still patriotic! And of course I painted hers too :) Hope you like them!

So I started off with two coats of basic red. This red is China Glaze's 'Red Alert'.

Here's the name shot.

I then added to the red with my make-shift dotting tool (a bobby pin). I did a dot of Love & Beauty's White, and inside that white dot I did a smaller dot of OPI's Dating a Royal. I then did a bigger dot to the right side of the white in OPI's What's With the Cattitude? and inside that dot I did a smaller dot of China Glaze's Ruby Pumps. I added two more smaller dots around the bigger two with Zoya's Charla. And I topped it all off with some little glitter streaks with my Silver Glitter by Art Deco. Kind of resembles fireworks, huh?

This is just a more zoomed in picture of one of my nails, with the same colors as the ones listed under the picture above!

Now for my next set of 4th of July nails (that i'm currently wearing).

The shoe was finally on the other foot! I had someone painting my nails! Yaay!

Look how cute! The American flags were totally Cassidy's idea! I used OPI's Dating a Royal on my other fingers. On my ring finger she used one coat of China Glaze's Ruby Pumps. For the little blue square she used Sinful Color's Midnight Blue, and for the 'stars' and stripes she used my Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in white. I hadn't cleaned up around my cuticle yet in this picture. I need to touch these up after work today so that they'll be nice and fresh for the 4th tomorrow!

And I wouldn't forget a picture of her nails! I did them in our favorite lavender color- OPI's Lucky Lucky Lavender!
That's all for now! Hope everyone has a great 4th of July! Don't be too reckless with the fireworks! XOXO
