Playing Catch-Up! Part 1

Hey guys!  I don't think I'll waste my time trying to come up with an excuse as to why I've been gone.  Because, truth is, I don't really have a very good reason!  There has just been a lot on my plate-between the end of school, scholarship applications, graduation, work, and now college prep.  So I may not be making a post every day, but I'm going to try really hard to make at least a couple posts a week!

I definitely have not stopped painting my nails regularly, I've just been sharing the pictures on my personal Facebook.  Which, many of my Facebook friends have really enjoyed.

So today, I'm just going to show y'all the many different colors my nails have been since February! (Give or take a little)

OPI's Let Them Eat Rice Cake layered with Butter London's Tart With a Heart on top.  I LOVED this combo and I got many compliments on it.  I actually ended up painting two other people's nails like this-and my teacher borrowed it too!

Please excuse the bad staining!  Besides that, I do love this color.  It is 'Sealed With a Kris' from the Kardashian Collection, put out by Nicole by OPI.  It's a deep red that went on great!  (Thanks to my dog for letting me use her face for this shot, haha)

Just looking at the colors in this picture makes me happy :) I first used 2 coats of Kim-pletely In Love, again from the Kardashian Collection. And I finished it off with 2 coats of OPI's I Lily Love you.  I love all the specs of color in I Lily Love You!

This would be Fly from the OPI Nicki Minaj collection.  Wow, I can't believe my nails had gotten that long!  I was lucky enough to have the whole Minaj collection sent to me by my lovely Aunt and cousin from Tennessee.  LOVE them!

I saw this idea on Pinterest, as did I'm sure a bunch of other people!  I thought it was adorable.  I got lots of compliments on this too.  I used Monsooner or Later by OPI for the base color.  OPI's Alpine Snow as the front of the sneaker.  And black and white striping colors by Sinful Colors for the seam and laces.

Valentine nails!  What other holiday would bring excessively pink and red girly nails?  Haha.  I used many many different colors here.  On my thumb and middle the base was OPI's (Nicki Minaj) Pink Friday.  On pointer and ring the base was OPI's Strawberry Margarita.  And the base on pinky was OPI's Monsooner or Later.  OPI's Pink Shatter is on thumb.  Alpine Snow + dotting tool on pointer.  Nicole By OPI's Love Your Life on middle.  I dipped the tip of my ring finger in iridescent glitter.  And OPI's Gettin' Miss Piggy With It is on pinky.

Yaay!  Mardi Gras nails!  Throw me somethin' mister!  I tried to capture the popular color-blocked striped shirts you see all over on Mardi Gras.  I used a mix of OPI, Sinful Colors, and Forever 21 polishes for this design.  I used a dotting tool to make the beads.  If you would like more specifics, just ask, haha.  But for now I'm feeling a little lazy.

This color is amazing-because it makes me look tan!  Which is something I hardly ever am!  This is the well-known Flip Flop Fantasy by China Glaze.  Awesome formula too!  And even though it looks like a neon, it doesn't dry matte.

I bought this color at the same time as I bought Flip Flop Fantasy.  I like it because it's different, I haven't really seen another color like this.  This is China Glaze's Secret Peri-wink-le.

I believe I got this idea from a magazine.  I titled it 'Gradience' and got many compliments.  I used all OPI colors in shades of purple. Again, if you want specifics, let me know!

This is another from the Kardashian Collection.  It is 'Wear Something Spar-Kylie'.  This is just two coats.  No base color or anything!  Amazing.  But I had to revert to the old "acetone-soaked cotton balls and foil" method for removal!  Haha.

This is OPI's Shootout at the O.K. Coral.  My aunt from TN ordered this one for me off of Amazon.  I think it might be retired.  It is really really pretty.  Two coats.

I got this color at Target.  It's a Sonia Kashuk called Fairy Princess.  It is a minty color with some sparkle in it.  Formula was just okay.  I had to apply 3 coats.

This is my absolute favorite color from the OPI Holland collection!  A Roll in the Hague is a bright, vibrant orange.  Probably could have been a one coater.  I did two.

These were my Easter nails!  I went with a bright pastel, Mod About You by OPI on bottom.  And topped it off with China Glaze's Luxe and Lush.

I will post the rest tomorrow!  I hope you guys enjoyed all the different colors for the first half and seeing how my nails fluctuated in length!  Let me know what your favorite was!

XOXO Victoria
