Playing Catch Up! Part 2

Here is the rest of the polish pictures!  These, I think, are all from after Easter.

Butter London's Disco Biscuit.  It is more a jelly consistency then a creme.  And normally, I really hate jellies.  But this...is GORGEOUS!  It's the prettiest pink with fine multi-color glitter.  I will have to do a more detailed post on this later to show you guys the polish up-close.  Two coats I believe.
This is Zuza by Zoya.  Probably could pass with one coat but I did two anyway.  I used a Turquoise Glitter from Forever 21 for my accent nail.  I really love all of Zoya's polish colors but I can't seem to keep their polish on for more than two days.  I'm wondering if I should invest in their anchor/armour base and top coat.  That might make all the difference.

Pedal Faster Suzi is from OPI's Holland Collection.  This is two coats.  I really like the 'dainty' color.

Ahh! Zoya Kiki!! This color was on my wishlist for sooo long.  It's the brightest, hottest pink without being neon.  It's got some shimmer in it too, which sets it apart.  I think it is a must have!

My bumble bee nails! I was wearing a black and white dress with mustard yellow sandals and accessories to a party, so I knew I had to paint my nails mustard yellow too.  My 'mustard yellow' polish choice...OPI's The "It" Color.  On my accent nail I just used a black and white striping polish for the bee.  My little cousins really loved it!

This combo is OPI's Samoan Sand on bottom and topped off with Essie's Shine of the Times.  It was subtle but packed a lot of punch.  I love it.

I think this was another idea I found on Pinterest.  I nicknamed this my 'Bubbly Blues'.  Bikini So Teeny by Essie was the light blue base.  I used OPI's Dating A Royal for my accent nail and the 'bubbles'.  Others seemed to really enjoy this one :)

I have a sort of funny story behind this one.  Everytime I would go to get a pedicure or a manicure at the nail salon, I saw this nude color with lots of shimmer by OPI sitting on the rack.  Every single time I went I would pick up the color, admire the color, try to open the bottle (which, by the way, I could never do because it was probably sealed together with some polish overflow).  I wrote the name of the polish down on my note pad to see if I could find it.  THE color was Skinny Dip'n in Lake Michg'n- which is retired.  I found it on Amazon, though.  I ordered it right away and was so happy when I recieved it in the mail!  I finally had my OWN bottle of that shimmery nude goodness.  So this is two coats.  Perfection.

Can you guess what these guys were for?  That's right...Independence Day!  For the base colors I used OPI's The Color of Minnie and Swimsuit...Nailed It.  I used a white striper polish and a silver glitter striper polish.  I also used a dotting tool.  I think they came out pretty good.

I picked up On the Beach at the Cosmetic Market in TN this summer when I was there.  I knew it was a pretty blue in the bottle, but I wasn't expecting much on the nail.  It actually floored me!  I love Deborah Lippmann's polishes and her colors are absolutely gorgeous, but the colors I had before this one were all glitter-packed and they never seemed to dry.  I don't know if it was just me or if it was the forumla of those polishes.  But this one dried normally and went on 'like butta'.  Which is what prompted me to buy two of her other colors that showed up in the mail today!

This is OPI's Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection..which I've swatched before.  I just love this color so much and the fact that you don't have to wear a base color with it.  And it comes off much easier than other glitter polishes!

Current Nail Color:
This is Mojito Madness from Essie's summer collection.  It is a pretty kelly green and I don't have anything like it in my collection.  I used two coats.  However, when I woke up this morning I had horrible bubbles on all of them.  I don't know what was up with that.  I didn't use really thick coats and hadn't even put a top coat on yet.  So I guess I'll have to try it out again another time.
I hope y'all liked the second part of my catch-up!  I'll be back tomorrow with a new post!

XOXO
Victoria

P.S. I've updated my Wishlist page and my Collection page!
